Question about 1997 Toyota Camry
What color is the smoke? Black? Bluish? White? Does it happen every time you start or only after the car has been sitting for a period of time? If it only happens after the car has been sitting, I'd suggest that the valve stem seals and/or valve guides are worn, allowing oil from the rocker arm (or overhead cam depending on the engine you have) area leaking down into the cylinder combustion chamber. Then when you start the car, the oil is burned producing a blue/black smoke. If the smoke appears every time you start the car, it could be the same problem, or you could have worn or broken piston rings on one or more cylinders. If you're seeing white smoke, that usually means that your engine is burning coolant (antifreeze) from a leaking or blown head gasket (this problem is usually associated with a noticeable drop in power). Check it out and post back.

You need to remove the entire rear seat, the bottom & the seat back. Remove both of the rear inner C pillar trims, remove the rear parcel shelf, under the back window.
The speakers come UP from where they are mounted. You cannot take them out thru the trunk.
Hope this helps, and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Removal of the plenum is pretty straight forward. You will need to replace the plenum gasket after you remove it; the gasket is not reusable. Personally, if I was going to take the trouble to remove the plenum, I would replace the plugs and wires back there, also.
I know, I have a 93 Camry V6, and it is a real pain to do the plugs and wires with the plenum on. There are no secrets or great tips on the plenum removal, just take your time. Remember that there are different size bolts, and where they go. Please get back to me if you need any more info...Hope this helps, and thanks for choosing FixYa to resolve your issue.
The graciousness of a FixYa rating for my assistance would be greatly appreciated.

That code is for the evaporative emmisions system. Here is a link to an open forum you can go to, this will help you understand what it is, and why. The vehicle on the site is a van, but the code, and parts involved are one in the same, so don't worry about the difference in vehicle. The van is a toyota, and this is the information on the p0446 code. Hope this helps you.

The rear wheel bearing on a toyota camry is replaced by replacing the wheel bearing and hub as a unit. this is a design change as compare to older models with two piece wheel bearings. Scotch drive wheels. Remove rear wheel. Remove rear brake drum. (note: if emergency brakes are applied you will not be able to remove brake drum) Remove dust cap and hub retaining nut. Hub should slide off as unit. Replace hub with new unit. Installation is reverse of removal.

the camry has struts on the rear they have to be removed and put in a strut spring compressor to hold the spring then you can remove the top nut and replace the shock part of the strut
