Question about Cars & Trucks

Hi Everyone, I am now so tired of my 1996 Toyota

Hi Everyone, I am now so tired of my 1996 Toyota Camry 300sei, it is not even funny. Yesterday my wife wanted to go fetch the kids at school and naturally wanting to find the key to do so.........15min later she found the key at the front door where our 8 month old jack russel(Lola) left it after she made a chewing toy out of the remote. You can imagine my frustration, so I unlocked the car with the second key, there is a key for the ignition and a separate key for the door. This is where my problems started. Without the remote, I can't start the car and the people I phoned to fix the problem almost charged me halve the car's value, which is ridiculous as I can't afford it as this stage. Can someone please tell me how to bypass the alarm control unit so we can drive the car until the time we can fix it? Sarel

I don't know were you are but you can have a copy remote made. all they need is the old remote board, and as long as the chip is not damaged they can make a copy. other way is to get another remote from a scrap car. and have the remote linked to the car with a tec2.

SOURCE: 2005 Toyota Corolla Car Alarm Problem

you may have to disconnect the battery for a minute or so ,this will reset the alarm. check your remote it does have a battery in it. otherwise you have to look for a fuse somewhere under the dash close to the fuse box.each one is diff. depending if it original toyota or aftermarket alarm.

My 1996 toyota camry is shaking a lot

1st check air pressure in tires make sure they are all set to 35psi.
If that don't fix it
2nd it would be out of line. Front end alignment will be needed.
3rd inner tie Rod ends may be worn out.
If you fix all of these and your problem still exist then it would be your inner tie rods.

But 1st i would check pressure in tires and go from there.

What can be wrong .I have a 300sei camry and my interior fan does not come on the ac buttons and all the other thongs work but the fan does not come on

Probably nothing wrong with control panel. The fan motor has either gone bad or the resistor that controls the motor speed needs to be replaced.

I do have a 1993 Camry 300sei (v6) Is the 1994 model the same?

This engine will probably have a cast iron block, painted black. Depending on which country you are in, some year from 1994 on Toyota changed the V6 to a design with an aluminium block, the 1MZ engine. So have a look to see what the engine block is made of.

With that many miles and years there are a lot of thoughts. If your tune up parts are old that would be the place to start; making sure there is no fouling of the plugs.
