Question about 1995 Mazda 626
Sounds like the remote-entry sensor receiver is failing or becoming short-circuted. it is located in the trunk. on a 2000, it is on the driver-side near the rear-dash mount speaker. rectangular black box with small wire-harness. to eliminate the problem until a replacement or shorted wire can be found, press the " deactivate remote entry" switch on the inner-upper driverside rear fender. inside trunk. just make sure to keep the keys in your pocket.
