would be best to have oil pressure checked with a mechanical gauge to be sure you have oil pressure.
hopefully you just have a bad oil pressure switch this is located on oil filter adapter rt above filter

go to a parts stor and ask them to read your codes i think most champion auto and napa auto parts stores offer this for free or you can even go to a dealership and have them read the codes

SOURCE: yellow oil light stays on.
if its a red light get it sorted if its a yellow light indicating low oil level the chances are you have a broken wire on the bonnet realease sound silly but it is a common problem check the wiring very carefully arond that area if need to follow it back from the bonnet catch and you will find it but you must check very crefully!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

some cars with oil level warning light on, it doesn't mean that its only reading the engine oil level is low, sometime the transmission fuid too. Did you check your transmission fluid if it is ok or not? try to check and let us know, ok.
