Go to this website and follow the instructions::

http://www.homelink.com

I programmed our 2 remotes in less than 5 minutes.
First I cleared the unit, then it went super-smooth....however, I had to use the 2 outside buttons. The middle button would not work??
I do not need 3 remotes, so no big deal here.

If you have a hand book that comes with the van the instructions are in there. on the top panel you have one two or three dots on a switch you have to hold the garage opener next to the switch in the van press both together until it flashes .

I have no owners manual. how do i program the garage door opener

Okay, first step is to clear any preprogramed doors or gates, engine must be off, press and hold the two outside buttons until the display confirms the operation (20 sec). this next step you will need the transmitter for the door you are programing, pick a button of the three you want to program, place the transmitter next to button and you will push them both at the same time and release, note the transmitter or hand held garage door opener what ever you call it, i dont want to confuse you ,when i say transmitter i mean the garage door opener, this must be close to buttons 1 inch at least, after you puhed and release both buttons at the same time then you are done. to program the other buttons just hold the next opener near the button and push both buttons, you dont need to hold the outside buttons again unless you want to erase all programing, good day let me know how it works.

We want to erase all of the programed instructions for the garage door in our Chrysler 2002 mini van the book says to push the 2 outside buttons until the green light begins to flash we don't know...

I just installed a garage door opener and the programming is done on it, not in the car. There is a button you push on the opener that learns your code and then remembers it. If you have an owner's manual for your opener, check in there. On mine, which is a Genie, you open the lower part of the cowl and there is a button you push and hold in until it starts blinking. Then within 30 seconds you have to push your opener remote or your in-car transmitter and it will learn the code.

Sorry, the process is simple but too lengthy to post here.

Goto homelink.com

I need to know the process on how to program the cars built in gurage door opener on a 2001 chrysler town & country

Hi my name is Allen!

Program a previously trained homelink button as follows... 1. Press and hold the desired pre-programmed HomeLink button for at least 20 seconds (but no longer than 30 seconds) until the indicator light begins to flash. Without releasing the HomeLink button, position the hand-held transmitter 1-3 inches away from the homeLink surface keeping the HomeLink indicator light in view. 2. Using both hands, simultaneously press and hold both the desired HomeLink button and hand held transmitter button (or press and "cycle" - as described in "Gate and Canadian programming"). DO NOT release until the HomeLink indicator light flashes slowly and then rapidly. When the indicator light flashes rapidly, both buttons may be released. (The rapid flashing indicates successful programming) The previous device has now been erased and the new device can be activated by pushing the HomeLink button that has just been programmed. however, it may be necessary to follow steps 5-7 of the "programming" section to complete the rolling code training. This procedure will not affect any other programmed HomeLink buttons.
