Yes, you turn the vehicle off. Hold the Trip/Reset button.
While holding, turn the key to the on position(2nd click without cranking engine)
Count to 15 and let go
Turn the car off and crank it up and get going.

Push the reset button hold the odometer button whlle you turn the key on or on some models insert like a toothpick on the black tab on the cluster
