How to add antifreeze 2002 dodge intrepid

Open the container of antifreeze. Using a separate EMPTY gallon-size container, pour out HALF of the contents into the empty container, making sure not to spill any. Now, FILL the newly filled container with tap water. Fill the rest of the antifreeze with water, also. Now, you are ready to add antifreeze to your vehicle! Simply locate the radiator cap, (Don't touch it if it's hot!!) and unscrew it. Pour the desired amount of your mixed antifreeze into the radiator. Remember not to do this without proper knowledge!

Terry, Add coolant to the reservoir located under hood, mounted by shock tower and fuse/relay center, fill to the full mark on side of coolant reservoir when cold, recheck after running and engine cold again. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Technically speaking, the cooling system uses a 50-50 mix of coolant and water. You can buy coolant already mixed, or full strength.
There are hydrometers that you can buy to test the condition of the coolant. I would suggest draining the radiator and refilling with full strength, then test it. You would still have some water in the block and heater core to mix with the new coolant.

Radiator has a blockage, it can be removed and taken to a shop to be cleaned out, or a new one can be found on line for a little less than $100.

What type of antifreeze coolant is required for 1995 intrepid

Your 3.3 or 3.5 V-6 came with the green original antifreeze...however all of my experiences recommend the new "Good for All Makes and Models" replacement antifreeze. It is designed to perform longer...:) Be sure to monitor your level for a couple of days...this system is vented by the overflow, and sometimes moves air around...this is common, just top off as necessary:)

where is the antifreeze coming out of: if it is a hose the you will need to replace hose, if it is from the thermostat housing then you will need to get a gasket/replace housing, if it is from the water pump then you will need to replace the water pump. Hope this Helps Tim

My heat quit working&now im having to had water to everyday

Heat not working is either a sign of a bad thermostat or bad water pump. Since you have to add coolant I would also imagine you have a major leak. Try to verify where the leak is coming from. Heater cores can also fail but you would have coolant in your car on the passenger side floor and you would notice the smell of antifreeze. Do not drive your car until you fix this. This will destroy the engine in no time!
