Question about Chevrolet Camaro

1 Answer

Actually, this is not a car problem. I know from experience most 'car guys' know how to repair lawnmowers as well. Since you don't have a listing for lawnmower repair well, you get the rest.... I need to replace the back (drive) tires on a Toro Super Recycler Walk-Behind Mower model 20042. I have the correct rear wheel's but I need to find out how to remove the old gear and place it on the new tire. I've tried using a gear puller, but that doesn't work. I'm assuming I need to buy a new gear set up for each tire, but I want to know how to install it. The wheels are plastic and it appears to have 3 holes that allow for the metal 'buttons' that are used to attach the gear. Any info is helpful. Thanks, Mike E

Have you checked the Toro web site? I looked and found the rear wheel assembly and it looks like the tire, wheel and gear come as one assembly.
Here is the web site you can look up the part and see the drawing.
Hope this helps.

2011 check engine light

1st of all never bring it to a dealer--mechanics generally don\'t have experience--they don\'t pay enough for the good guys. It probably needs a new module or sensor-running a data stream with factory tools by a good shop works. And it\'s best to use new parts with electronics.

My mechanic installed complitelly new engine fans and relay a month ago. After that ralay keep become bad. Tomorrow I actually going to change relay for the third time. ANY IDEA???

How do you know you had any bad relays?

They have to be tested-- as with any part

No parts ever get changed until they fail a test

If they fail --you have to know if the primary coil
failed or the contacts burned up

You have to diagnose & resolve the main issue

Your not doing that--- nor did the repair shop

Does changing a relay over & over seem like a fix?

No---- it is not the problem.

If you don't have the experience -- describe the issue to a
different shop

I have a 2002 buick rendezvours my car won't start

Did the people that told you to change the fuel pump
diagnose the entire electrical system for the fuel pump
or just guess at your expense?

If your the one working on your own car, then I have to say
if you don't have factory diagnostic manuals, wiring diagrams
& experience, not only car repairs but basic electricity, your
in trouble, because you have no reference material & no way
to know where to start testing

After 1996, the car has pretty much gone to the repair shops,
as most people never stayed up with new technology

If the new pump was installed by a repair shop, then you don't
need me to tell you the problem.
The shop failed to properly diagnose & resolve & that may be
what they do alot, as they are not up to speed

The car loses power at a certain point while driving. Had the spark plugs and wires replaced along with the dist cap. Engine light blinks then car loses power runs like a lawnmower. The engine light...

What your saying is someone put the problem
in your vehicle
Take it back

You never replace parts in the hope of solving
any issues
You diagnose all check light issues first,
find cause of the system that set the light and repair
Then continue with any other drivability issues

In most of these cases, a repair shop doesn't
know why your there
Partly your fault and partly theirs
So you get plugs you may need and wires that never
fail, and you still have the same problem

You don't want to be there or trust them, they don't
want to discuss much, which is a long standing
half century of poor business practices.

What I'am saying, is they have to diagnose the initial
drivability issue, that customer has,not throw parts at it

You still have a check light on
In my world it is inconceivable you could
leave a repair shop in that condition

Just bought a 2002 kia sedona in an auction. When we try to start it, it sounds like it wants to start but it will not turn over. I do not know anything about cars so I cannot offer any more information....

First look to see if the battery is the issue. If the car is not actually starting this may be the problem. With someone who has car experience, try to jump the battery. Otherwise, you can try getting it replaced.
