Its easy, The only tool you need is a plastic lever tool. Or can be done with big head screw driver (but car for the trims for it can get damaged)
Lever both side vents out, then pull on the trim gently outwards. (long piece from glove box to the end of the radio before the instrumental dash panel) Then pull the main inturmental dash out towards you as well. There may by plugs connected to the front panel. Disconnect that and it exposes the digital meter, I think it then takes only 2 x 10m bolts and the dash is out.

the reset procedure of the timing belt light is all done by pressing the trip meter button and holding it in whilst the ignition is turned to on then select from the trip button then continue pressing until you come to 15 on trip metre, turn off and then restart. The light should then go off.

You need to remove the dash first, then remove the speedo /guage cluster unit from the vehicle, by undoing the 3 or 4 plugs on the back of the cluster unit. when you look at the back of the unit you will see alot of srews and wires. look closely around the middle part and you will notice a small phillips screw with a empty hole next to it. remove the srew and put it back into the empty hole which was next to it. This resets the timing belt lamp. good luck

usually 2 options to reset toyota light.
1.remove small rubber plug in dash clear lense.use a long thin rod to reach in and push the small reset button at the bottom of the gauges.Light will extinguish.
2.remove the instrument panel and unplug all from behind to turn it over.Usually in the centre of the rear you will see two holes and 1 screw.for t-belt.shift the screw to other hole.refit dash ensuring all the plugs are refitted.Light should now be out.
