Heater core could be plugged feel both heater cores hoses going into firewall both are hot.problem could be in the heater control assembly like heater mode switch or heater air door actuator broken.if heater core inlet hose hot but outlet hose warm not hot heater core plugged.

Your thermostat may be stuck open and your coolant isn't getting hot to warm the cab.Here's a link on how to replace,very easy to do.Don't let your pets near spilt coolant,will kill them.

Pull the temperature knob off and verify the thin 12mm nut is installed and tight behind it. I have seen several of these loosen up allowing the knob to turn but intermittently have no effect on temperature.

Check coolant level. Check for heat at the heater hose going from water pump to heater core at firewall. Check to see that cable is moving coolant control valve from the closed to open position. Low mileage so it shouldn't be plugged heater core.

Your Freeon might be leaking or empty. You can buy replacement containers at any local auto shop, should this be the case. And remember, never try to refill a freeon container yourself.
