Question about 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
Hi Chike, An engine in a poor state of tune can cause problems with gearbox operation, but I have not heard of tuning causing complete failure of transmission. Your first course of action should be to check the transmission fluid level. If it's low, top up with the the engine running and check the ATF level in the usual way. If the box has leaked oil, have it repaired as it's causing damage to the environment and if neglected the problem will definitely reappear. If the problem persists have the car diagnosed by service technicians using diagnostic scanning equipment. Regards John

Sorry but if your reverse is having trouble you will probably have to replace or rebuild tranny like me. Otherwise try new filter and fluid first.
