SOURCE: 98 Mystique serpentine belt replacement to by pass A/C compressor

Good news...if you've got the 4 cylinder model, O'Reilly Auto Parts has a belt made by Gates Model #K060806. If you have the 6 cylinder model, it's Gates Model #K060623. I'm guessing you tried AutoZone first...I hate AZ for this reason alone. Anyways, hope this proves useful. Have a great night!

SOURCE: Can I bypass ac compressor

You can go to an auto parts dealer. They sell a bracket with a pulley that takes the place of an a/c compressor and allows you to use the same size belt It's available at a place like NAPA or Autozone.

SOURCE: need to bypass ac compressor

Hi yotaguy,
You will need to buy a By-Pass pulley, due to the placement of the other pulleys you will not be able to eliminate the ac and still run the correct routing of the belt.
I will research the price of the pulley and post it here.
Please rate this solution, the only compensation I receive for my time is the knowing I have helped and the rating I receive here on Fixya.

SOURCE: procedure to change serpentine belt 2006 toyota tacoma?

On my 2005 Tacoma with the 4.0L V6, I found it easier to change the belt from under the truck. Just remove the skid pan. Plenty of room to install the belt. The tensioner pulley is the one at about 2-o'clock from the crankshaft with the belt nearly all the way around it.

A dim or dead display is a very common problem with the 05-09 Tacoma. The console is very prone to internal failure. I offer a reasonable repair service with a lifetime guarantee, check it out: www.autoclockrepair.com
There is a bunch of useful info there. Drop me an email if you have questions, thanks!

What size belt do I need to bypass Mercury Sable AC Compressor

I had to do the same thing on my Toyota Avalon. I used a flexible cloth measuring tape to measure around the pulleys (minus the A/C, of course). I had to cut the pulley off the Avalon A/C compressor because of interference issues. You may or may not have to do the same.

I have 2006 toyota tacoma 2.7 engine with a bad a/c compressor I want to replace the serpentine belt and bypass the copressor is it possible and what size belt would i use?

This is an easy fixya. Take a piece of string or thin rope and tie a small loop in one end. Then wrap it around the two pulleys. Thread the "non-loop" end through the loop and tie it off with a secure square knot so it can't slip out. Remove the string. You can take it to the auto parts store and have them measure it or you can cut the string at the knot and measure from the tip of the loop to the knot yourself. The nice thing about the serpentine for the AC is that it's a simple bolt to adjust the tension. Make sure you have the old belt with you so you can get the correct rib pattern. I just replaced the whole AC in my 2.7L. It took about 2 and a half hrs.

Hi:
The easiest method to do this is to go to an auto parts store and buy a belt designed for a truck with no air conditioning. The belt will be the right size, and you just install it as normal, and bypass the compressor

Engine Belt

hi there it sounds to me that the bearings are going bad on your ac/c compressor

you can bypass it by getting a smaller belt
to get a size you can take a piece of string or rope and go around the remaining pulleys like alternator power steering and crank shaft then tie a know take it to napa and have them match as close as possible then install that belt this will solve your problem until you replace the compressor
the other way is go to a salvage yard look for you make and model without a/c there will be most likely a pulley and bracket in the place of the a/c compressor
take a picture of the set up and take the pulley off including the mount bolts and then remove th compressor on your car and install the pulley and you can use the same belt
