Question about 1991 Ford Ranger Supercab
My ABS and Brake Lights are on continually. My mechanic cannot find the problem. It has to do with a code 12, but my fluid levels are okay. Any suggestions as to how to get these lights off. Just had back brakes done and work fine. so sorry but I didn't even see the solution I don't think the lite stuck on is going to create the anti-lock brakes to lock up at slow speeds but more likely to lean toward a leaking wheel cylinder that the pads got contaminated by the fluid
If you are talking about the back brakelights being on continuously, some Ford products have a sliding plastic brake switch under the pedal which sometimes needs adjustment after a brake job. If you are talking about dash lights, then it sounds like the ABS or proportionate valve is stuck off-center. Some vehicles have to be bleed in a factory recommended sequence which keeps that problem from happening.
