Car runs rough guttless

Sorry to say, blue smoke denotes burning oil, loss of power as well , it is more than likely worn piston rings and engine bore! Might be time to look for a replacement unit.

It can be issue with low fuel pressure,the fuel pump is getting old both needs to be checked.Also get the IAC valve checked.

go through wireing near sensor and plug attached to sensor and clean it all first,my mate had same prob cleanded it all and now works,not saying will be solution but it worked for his.

it is bad because the engine needs new rings
compression pressure should be around 150-160psi
A replacement engine would be in order

Sometimes a rough idle like that is a fuel filter. As you've already done the plugs and wires the fuel filter would be my next bet.

use a timing light and go by your timing spec they shoud be located under the hood by radiator if timing is too slow it will be very sluggish and if to fast it will run better but rattle when pulling...if you have no light you could advance it just till it starts to rattle under a pull..and back it off just till it stops..old racer trick

Have you tried changing both of the fuel filters? If they are clogged your power will go down and your gas mileage will go down. I'm not sure about the smell of gas, but new fuel filters really helped mine.

It will be cheaper to replace the turbo as you would have to change too much to not run turbo, Your car is set up to run turbo so will run lower compression than non turbo version meaning it will feel pretty guttless without it. i hope this helps.

make sure to have your mechanic buddy check for correct firing order
and engine compression becasue any thing mising in the cylinders eill cause a misfire code,
and what codes are you geting?
idont belive than you need an 02 sensor because with a present misfire teh o2 sensor will read rich or lean but most likelly rich
