Has the car got a sunroof? If so, it sounds like something is a bit loose and sliding sideways when you turn the corner..

Loud bang coming from front end when i turn the steering

If it happens when you turn while driving, it could be a broken sway bar link. Try to hear if it's coming from the pass. or driver side and check underneath next to the wheel (or just check both). Can be hard to spot sometimes but usually is hanging by one end with hardware missing. Cheap to replace, quick to fix.

I have a 1998 Cheverolet pickup 2500 series and weve replaced the power steering pump, pulley, highpressure hose and the soleinoid. It was running great but when you take a sharp turn, power steering fluid...

Whenever you turn the steering all the way against the stop the pressure in the system skyrockets. If fluid is coming out of a hose there must be a leak in it. You should avoid turning the steering wheel against the stop if at all possible.

big bang theory.

Ok, I've never heard of this happening to someone. If you turn left or right and apply brakes there is no noise. That means that the front end is probably ok. If it doesn't seem loose that way.

If you have a Sears nearby take it to them so they can listen to this banging.

They probably won't charge to look at it.

Jaguar xjr. Air suspension fault highlighted.

I too have this problem. Another problem I have is that there is a rubbing noice when I turn the wheel. It sounds like it it coming from the right front wheel and I can hear it particularly when I am parking or making a sharp turn.

When my 2004 Pontiac is cold there is a whinning sound as yu accerlate, however as the car warms up the noice disappears. Can you give a suggestion as to the problem.

Its probably an over-tight drive belt such as on the power steering or alternator.

If the belt has been replaced recently it may needs slackened off slightly due to an over-keen mechanic.
