Question about 2005 BMW 1 Series
Hi all, while ago I had a leak from the car I own (BMW'05 series 1) and mechanic fix the leak by replacing the seal. There is no more leak but the oil level is dropping down and also every morning when I start the car i'm getting the icon with "engine oil pressure low". Can u please advice what the issue is?
-Check oil level. There is not leak but it could be burn already.

SOURCE: High oil Consumption, BMW M5
Look for Castrol TWS 10W60 Motor Oil. This car should not burn so much oil, you need to use a different kind. It is recommended by BMW as well. I also heard the VANOS isnt an issue anymore, can be fixed with a different MAFF. Good luck!

SOURCE: I have a 2001 BMW
Check th below:
1)Check if the torx screw -(it's a screw that allow you to drop out the Engine oil)- is not dripping out any oil.
2) check if the crank shaft sealing is ok.
3) check if the oil pan is cracked or not (especially if you made any accident).
4) check if the oil filter is mounted properly and sealed very well.
5) if the oil is not dipping out of your car but it disappear after short period that means that your engine rings should be replaced or the engine needs an overhaul.
