Its in the operators guide, lost that?
its on line for all cars, and free.
the correct oil is listed there, for CLIMATE. (location not stated so, ...)
can vary by engine, very few cars have just 1 engine used world wide, and you didnt even give the year.
google for the operaters guide, or call suzuki.

SOURCE: i need to put oil in my car but do not know where it goes???

there should be a cap that unscrews located on the valve cover of the motor... look at the side of the motor closest to you.... the cover is usually black ... or blue as it is a ford... if you are not 100 % certain by these instructions please let us know we will locate a picture to assist you.

SOURCE: Which engine oil? vw polo 51 reg

The VW specs for oil is way over-hyped.

Use a Brand Name Full Synthetic 10W40 oil and you'll be OK.

SOURCE: I don't know where to put the gear box oil

Most fill/check plugs are located on the top, or side of the transmission. The plug may be unscrewed with a ratchet or a wrench. I would go by the recommended amount of trans oil, but the side fitting can usually be filled up with a small hose until it spills out.

My oil light has started to intermitantly come on in my 05 Suzuki Swift 1.3. I'm assuming I need to add some engine oil but I don't know which one to buy. Please advise.

Yes, this would be a good indication of low oil. You should try to stick with the same brand and viscosity of oil every oil change. If your car has over 75,000 miles I recommend a High Mileage oil of your choice. Which ever oil you choose I would suggest a 5W30 viscosity. Hope this helps.

How to change motor oil on suzuki swift 1994 thanks

at the bottom of the engine you will see the oil sump its like a tub with a screw that looks like a star you nedd some sort of bucket to catch the oil, make sure the engine is cool put the bucket underneath the sump then unscrew it make sure to catch the screw the oil will come out of the hole leave it for a while till oil is all out then locate oil filter unscrew this, this will want replacing with a new one. (get the new oil filter first then you will know witch one to take off from the engine) replace old for new , screw the screw back into the sump make sure you do this befors you put new oil in when it is in and new oil filter is on put new oil in to the mark on your dip stick and away you go.. hope this helps you. please put feed back on profile for me if this help you bye
