Question about 1998 Pontiac Grand Am
My anti lock brake light is on as well as my brake lights. I changed the pads, but I have a grinding noise sometimes when i oull off and i hear a clunking noise from the drivers side brake caliper area when i turn or hit a bump or hole. what couls the problem be. Bearings, struts, what???
Front hub bearing. If you were the one who replaced the pads you should have turned the hub while the caliper was off and checked for roughness or wobble. Imagine the rotor wandering from side to side and rubbing the pads; thats what a worn hub will do.
