How to remove the Multi CD Player

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: cd player jambed
Go to any car audio installer or your local ford dealer and ask to borrow their stereo removal tools. Or you could buy some yourself from an auto parts shop, not too expensive. Use these to pop the stereo out and, unless you have the security code, DON'T disconnect the plugs at the back. If you do need to disconnect the plugs, write down the serial number of the stereo (M0----) and call a dealer to get the code. Remove the star / torx drive screws that hold the top cover down and lever the cover off. Using a couple of screwdrivers through the centre hole of the cds, pull them up until you can align the cd with the inside of the slot that you normally insert them through, and force them back out through there. Do that with all the cds, and then reassemble. This is not as easy as it sounds, and you have to be a bit rough with the cds to release them from the changer, but just be careful not to damage the cd player any further if you're planning to get it fixed at some point.
Hope this helps, Mark

there should be a load button some where on the head unit
what for it to indicate that it is OK to insert another **** then press load again
to change disk there should be a disk button
to eject the cd just choose what disk to eject eg cd 4 then press eject

Look around the face plate for a very small hole...use a straightened paperclip or equivalent and press in a few inches...its a manuel door release and you should gain access to at least the loading tray.

The only thing that is left for you to do is to remove the stereo and then disassemble it and remove it yourself. A little daunting but needs to be done. Sounds like it went in wrong and then became jammed
