the speed sensor have relation with the transmition if is automatic uses a different computer than the manual transmition, the configuration is totally different. you must change the computer and check also the cluster because is networked with the electrical system of the computer. some times you have to replace that one also and the wire harness also. good luck

Check your local salvage yards if they don't have it ask them to do a nationwide search for the part better to buy this part used than new will save you money, if you don't mind spending money then go to your local dodge dealership and have them order the Mopar replacement part.
my not be the tranny, could be the auto clutch, get it looked at first before you go spending $$$$$??? on a new transmition. But if you do need a new tranny try checking out Kijjiji for jeep parts.
HAVE YOUR ALTERNATOR CHECKED TO MAKE SURE ITS CHARGING.IF NOT IT WILL CAUSE BRAKE LIGHTS TO COME ON.BECAUSE ABS BRAKE NEED AT LEAST 12.5 TO 13.0 VOLTS TO WORK.IF YOUR ALTERNATOR NOT PUTTING OUT.THE LIGHTS WILL COME ON.DRAIN SOME OF THE TRANSMISSION FLUID OUT OF TRANSMISSION.IF OVERFILLED.IF FUSE CONTACT LOOSE BEST SOLUTION REPLACE WITH A NEW ONE.
