You have a short on the brake light activation button on by the brake pedal. Clean the connections, make sure they are plugged in all the way. If that doesn't fix it, you probably have a short under your dash somewhere.

For the lights on the front and dash lights coming on when you push the brakes, check the brake light bulbs and wiring at the back.A defective bulb may be energizing the parking light circuit by transferring voltage from the brake light circuit. If you have trailer wiring this could be the source also.Do you have a sub in the car? They can shorten the life of alternators as they can use lots of power.Have you checked the voltage the alternator is producing and amps the vehicle is asking for when running?

Brake lights stay on, 2002 Honda Accord EX 4 cylinder

The brake lights work regardless of the ignition switch. There is normally a switch mounted under the dashboard, that presses against the brake pedal hangar. Normally, when you press the brake pedal, this switch loses contact with the hangar, and the brake lights come on. If the switch gets broken or out of adjustment, the brake lights can stay on at all times. This will eventually kill the battery. Readjust or replace the brake light switch.

My dashboard lights (battery emergency brake light & air bags) are flashing on my dashboard while driving but go out when I come to a stop on my 2001 santa fe

Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

Brake light on, gas light on, battery light on. Dashboard lights.

Hi, that would be your alternator needs to be overhauled. The battery light is usually a good indicator that your alternator is not charging.
You'll need to get the bearings, brushes, and vacum pump seals replaced. Hopefully the regulator is ok, but they will test this when you get it repaired.

In short your alternator is not charging....

Brake light on dashboard constantly on

Unhook your positive battery cable for a little while and then hook it back up. The sensor should have reset so the light should be off. After driving it for awhile if the light doesn't come back on then its fine. If it does then you have some sort of issue with your brakes but it could be as simple as needing to add brake fluid. Still check right away or have someone check right away because your brakes might be unstable.
