There's most likely two spots on either track that has screws you tighten down to hold the window in place, and on track. You'll have to take the door panel off to see more of the window.

Through the holes in the frame of the door, roll the window down/up, or pull it up/push it down, and try to find the track tighteners.

you have to remove the door panel..unbolt the tracking from inside the door..slide the windows back inside the track rails....push window all the way up..tape the window so that id does not fall back down or have someone hold window up while you rebolt the track to the door.replace door panel....the tracks move over time and that it why the window fell.

Passenger power window is off track how to fix

Hi Heidi
This is a very easy and fast fix the Window is only aligned/attached to the track with a plastic lift/pin this has been known to come off and therefore pushing your window of the track.
You really don't need many special tools for this. You only need to remove the door panel (requires a certain size hex screwdriver for the door handle bolts) and then lift the window back on its track. Now the plastic on the track itself could have gotten brittle with age so once your able to see if it infact broke apart you can look at replacing the part usually that one runs between 60-100 dollars if you buy it online through places like ebay or for example. A remanufacturered guide/track will be quite fine. To take that whole thing apart well there are only 5 bolts you take out then you can pull the lifter assembly out (usually 5-10 minutes to do that) then to put the new one in it takes usually around 10-15 minutes but after that your window is tip top.
I hope this helped Philipp

Back seat passenger power window of a 2003 ford explorer is not working. I can hear the motor working but the window doesn't go up or down. I can push it up and down manually but now the window is inside...

The window came off the tracks. You will need to take the inner door panel off and get to the window track and put the window back in the track.

Rear passenger side window just fell down and won't go back up. is this possible?

Yes its possible, the roller has come out of the track You would have to remove the arm rest and panel screws off and remove the cover with the door open unsnap the clips on the door and let the door hang down use a flashlight to see the roller that's off track pick the glass up and slid into the glass guides and move the window up till you get the roller into the track, have the key on in case you need to raise the window up or down to get it to go into the track, if the roller is broke you can buy one at a junk yard, if the roller is ok then the stop pin may have fallen out and you will have to use a roll pin to keep the roller from coming out of the track. Hope this helps.

Rear passenger window off track

You have to carefully remove the panel. They are all "snapped" into place. If you have not done this before, it's hard to describe. You may have to remove a lever, I have never done the back panels, just the front ones, but it was not too bad. Use a medium sized screw drive and take your time.

Odds are there is a green / yellow plastic part that has failed. This usually happens on the front ones, but I guess it could on the back ones. This plastic part fails that holds the window in the runners.

Once the panel is off this is easy to fix. You will have to get the part at a dealer and the put back on. There is a metal retaining pin you will have to deal with.

When testing, please be very careful putting the window all the way up. It is amazing how easy it is to break a window if it is not lined up correctly. My friend broke two trying to fix one of his cars (not a Saab).

I have had to fix a front in my wife's 2001 replacing the plastic part.

This is a known issue

My power window came off track

There are 2 screws just above the door handle you need to remove. Remove the plastic trim around door handle. Then starting at bottom of door panel pull out to disengage the push pin clips and work your way up both sides of panel. Then lift up on door panel to disengage the weatherstip on top of panel.
