Yes, have the battery checked. If it was nearing the end of it's life, it may be time to replace it, as the lights left on drained it completely, and it's not re-charging enough due to it's already poor condition. You can get it tested for free at most parts stores, in or out of the vehicle. They can tell you if it's charge is too low, and if it's time to replace it. Good luck, hope its that simple!

Glad to hear it's ok now. Cars can be a pain in the #*$&. Something happens right after a problem (dead battery, then the stalling) and you figure that it must be related, and nope, it's not.

2002 Dodge Ram 4X4 1500 - "lamp out" truck says the following are out, left brake light, left turn signal, left low beam, right high beam. I have changed them all and it didn't change anything....

Try resetting the computer. Unhook both battery cables and ground them out to the frame. This will bleed off any charge in the computer. Do this for at least 60 seconds. Hook the battery back up and check for messages.

If that doesn't help, make sure you have the correct bulbs. The computer sends a small electrical pulse to the lights to test them, several times a minute. If you've ever upgraded your lights (like to HID lights) or replaced the bulbs with something not OEM equivalent, this cal cause the "Lamp Out" condition.

Obd2 check tricks 2001 dodge durango

On-off with ignition 3 times and you will get error code in odometer. Check the code from the internet gods, it will tell you. Probably small evaporation leak detected from loose gascap. Try removing ground from battery for 10 min, then replace. It should go away. If comes back, something more serious perhaps.

did you check the brake fluid level? you dont just go replacing parts without knowing what is bad. The abs unit will have trouble codes, get those codes and tell us what they are.

2002 dodge ram 1500 quad cab. service 4x4 light came on, 2nd time. 1st time battery ran down due to light left on. charged the battery started truck and light was out. this time just got truck back from...

this light is telling you that there is something wrong with the system. like fluid levels in the transfercase or front diff it could be telling you that the transfercase may have some internal issues. I would take it to a transmission shop and have them look at the tcase and front diff
