The backup light switch is probably bad. It's on top of the transmission. It's pretty inexpensive, and should be fairly easy to change.

Have your alternator checked. If one (or more) of the diodes in the alternator is shorted, you can get similar symptoms, and it won't charge the battery either.

Problems are never in a fuse

If a fuse is found blown, you don't
replace it

You go to wiring diagrams & find out what
in that circuit would most like cause it to fail

All you can do is check all fuses

rite on the shift console you should have a hole or a key hole witch ever you have put your key in it and you will be able to put your car in park

it is flashing a code filter could need changed and fluid or a selonoid in the trany may be acting up if u go to a shop most of them can scan it and tell u but u just may need to replace the filter and fluid

i know a light on your dash can drive you crazy, but as long as you are sure the oil is showing on the correct place on the dipstick you should have no problem

I've put in hundreds of alternators sometime a new one doesn't work properly you heed to check the voltage output of the vehicle running to see if it's charging or simple remove the negative battery cable while the vehicle is runnig, if it keeps running the alternator is working if it's dies it's not but you need to know the voltage output most vehicles it's 13.5 min.

If headlight do not come on, leave them on and start check ground and power.
If headlights do come on then locate the starter and fine something to tape on it, not too hard,
but before u can do this have someone set inside the car with the key turn in the start position...
