Replaced engine fuse box (with ipdm )on 2003 Nissan Altima SL and now the wipers will not turn off even with switch removed

With IPDM - intelligent power distribution module . Pull the front wiper relay and front wiper hi relay , see if they reset . If that doesn't work you'll need to take it to the dealer an have them reset with factory scan tool . Also ,sometimes new modules need to be programmed . My wipers turns on by themselves on my 2002 Nissan altima

Loose connection down by or in the steering column. If you turn them on though the leaver on the right hand side of the steering column.

Or you can try, with the car off, just turn the switch on and off several, several times in a row. This can clean the switch.

Wipers work sometimes, and sometimes they don't

Sometimes the wiper motor will develop a bad spot internally. If the wipers seem to stop while they were actively operating fine, try leaving the switch on and manually move the wipers by hand, in either direction. If they start moving again after you move them by hand, then your motor is bad. If not, it may very well be what was suggested concerning the wires in the steering column; However the steering column solution can be tested by turning on the wipers and then moving the steering wheel left and right, if they turn off or on, then the wires are likely rubbing against metal, which will wear off the plastic insulation and short out. If no fuse has ever blown, then it is most likely a bad motor or switch. Best wishes!

The 2004 Nissan Sentra I own intermittent wipers don't work. Can anyone tell me how to fix them?

The intermittent function for your wipers is controlled by the wiper control amplifier. This is an integral part of the wiper (combination) switch and is serviced only by replacing the switch assembly.

Windshield Wipers on 2007 Altima Quit on High

It might be either switch itself or wiper relay.
Ufortunatly I don't know location of the relay.
You can actually find relay by noise , put the switch on intermittent position and see where the cliking coming from.

2002 nissan altima a/c compressor wont engage & wippers wont work

it could be a conscience that the wipers stopped too, because elctricly these are not sharing any resources.
there may be a leak in the system. when the freon gets low there is a pressure switch that disables the clutch to prevent damage.

My wipers won't work in my 98 altima. the washer fuild will come out but arms don;t move

check for power at the wiper motor, if power to motor check wiper motor it may be bad. when checking power to motor, you have to turn on switch to check for power. if no power to motor, then it is either a fuse, bad wiring, or a bad switch for wipers.

Window wiper - front stopped working on 2002 mod. nissan terrano 3.0ltr turbo diesel sv checked fuse what else could it be other than motot ?

Could be the switch on the steering column. I've had that a few time when working on a cars at work (GM), the switch went, sometimes part of it work, other times none of it worked. Otherwise if it's two motors, it has to be something else as two motors don't just stop working at the same time (lucky chance).
