This indicates that a part of the EVAP control
system is no longer functioning correctly. The EVAP system consists of
many parts, including (but not limited to) the gas cap, fuel lines,
carbon canister, purge valve, and other hoses. The (EVAP) emission
control system prevents the escape of fuel vapors from a vehicle's fuel
system. Fuel vapors are routed by hoses to a charcoal canister for
storage. Later, when the engine is running a purge control valve opens
allowing intake vacuum to siphon the fuel vapors into the engine.
Evaporative emission system malfunction. Could be something as simple as the gas cap wasn't tightened properly, or a hose to the evap canister that has cracked. If you can't see it, you may have to find a shop with a smoke machine. They inject fog into the system and look for leaks. Try the gas cap first, it must be tight and then driven long enough to reset the computer.

I think I need to replace a blend door actuator in a 2005 expedition. It is making a ticking sound but every thing seems to work ok. Do I take just the top of the dash board off or the whole thing.

where can i find the speed sense wire on a 2007 galant (color and location)? I'm hooking up a Nav system. I can try to find it at the cruise control module, trans control module... but what color is the wire? all I need is the signal. Thank you.
