Generally the fuel pressure delivery is 35 psi (between 32 - 40 psi is not problem)

not hardly for fuel injection..see the fuel pressure is mainained in a canister that houses the fuel pump in the tank..if money is an issue and it usually is.. you can get a fuel tank from a towyard for much less than a new pump.. I paid 35 bucks for mine and it runs fine..

Fuel pressure

Key on, engine off: 35 to 45 psi.
Engine idling: 30 to 35 psi.
Engine idling, vacuum hose disconnected: 35 to 45 psi.

It also says that the pressure should drop by 3 to 10 psi when going
from key on, engine off, to normal idle pressure.

The car has spark fuel is coming but the injectors cannot open permanent feed is there on one of the wires what can be my problem

You may not have enough fuel pressure. The pump can still work and be weak. I am not sure what your pressure is suposed to be but most are 40 to 60 pounds.

WHAT IS THE FUEL PRESSURE SUPOSE TO BE ON A 98 GRAND CARAVAN

The fuel pressure should be 49 psi. On all engines except the 3.0 liter you can check the fuel pressure at the fuel pressure test port located on the fuel rail. On the 3.0 liter engine you can disconnect the quick-connect fuel line fitting at the fuel rail and install a fuel gauge with a (T) fitting and adapters to check fuel pressure. Start the engine and check the fuel pressure. Hope this will help.

I have a 1999 intreped and sometimes it wont start after i drove it for a while, and it will cut off with out any warning while im driving

Check the fuel pump & pressure. The pressure should be 35 psi & shouldn't drop with the key off. If it does, replace the pump.

Help

Sounds like it needs a new fuel pump. Get a Fuel Pressure Gauge and check it make sure it up to the Specs,What I think is about 35 to 40 psi without looking in my book. Also you would want to make sure the fuel filter was changed, Your getting spark and fuel, But You stated your able to start it with starting fluid so I would say it must be a fuel pump problem.. I hope that help you out. If not get back to me and we can try some more trouble shooting. Take Care, Bear
