First how many miles are on this blazer and have you checked all the vacuum lines on the engine ? also has it been tuned recently like plugs wires etc? It might just be time .. Also change that fuel filter it might be getting dirty also.. just a few ideas holler if you need more Jerry

I have a 1994 chevy s10 with a4.3 liter v 6 at idle it runs rough and can smell raw fuel above 1500-2000 rpm it seems to clear up

I would have catalytic converter checked. You can also check the base of the carb or Throttlebody to make sure there isn't a vacuum leak.

check for a vacumn leak around the cyl head by spraying carb cleaner near head (caution do not spray flamable fluids on hot exhaust) listen for engine speed changes or smooth running/ engine faultering / stall, ....... could be broken vacumn line also......

It could and most likely is a faulty Fuel pump.

2000 Chevy s10 2.2L very rough idle at low rpm

run a fuel pressure test, if that checks out fine it may be a faulty coil pack or ignition control module

Why is my 1994 Chevy S10 Blazer lugging? motor shakes and lugs.

Could be vacuum leak or bad ignition wire(s).

I had a similar problem on my "93 Ford probe. The engine idled pretty rough with shakes, Turned out to be a head gasket leaking engine coolant into the cylinder during low rpm's. At fast rpm's it was fine becuase the internal cylinder pressure was greater than the hot coolant pressure & would prevent the coolant from leaking in.

A friend has the same problem with his "94 Blazer 4.3 L, throttle body injection, manual tranny. He hasn't fixed it yet, It started a few weeks ago & is getting worse. His gets a fast idle with hiccups which causes the engine shake. He already checked the EGR valve. He also has a severe exhaust problem, Not oilly but very gray & terrible smelly, but only when the fast idle problem happens. THis fast idle hiccup problem starts when the engine is warmed up.
