Have you tried different cd's?I f so then the loading tray may be at fault. If you don't want to fix it here is a solution.Buy a cassette adapter with a 3.5 mm connector and use a mp3 player you can transfer your cd collection to your mp3 player via you computer
may have a bad or dirty laser, alot of times its the belt that spins the disc or some dont use belt they use a motor without belt, i'm not to sure of the cost to repair but weve had a few repaired that we removed and sent out and there were no more than $150.00 and a couple were 90.00. i would try to remove the power from cd player, remove it and unplug the connector for a few minutes, then power it back up but dont reinstall it just in case this doesnt work and you want to replace it or repair it. hope this is helpful.

You can go to the dealer and have them help you get the code for the radio, if there going to charge you a crazy amount you can try www.radio-code.com. There cost is cheaper and can help you reprogram the code in your KIA. befor you go through all that, check for the code in the glove box, there might be a sticker in there or in your back pages to your manuel.
Good luck and hope this helps yougte your radio wokring again, keep me posted oh and try 0000 first.
