1994 Chevy Camaro, 6 Cylinder, stalling problem

Try cleaning the throttle body and the idle speed control valve, they get full of sludge and this causes stalling. Use a product called CRC Throttle valve cleaner on both parts, DO NOT USE CARB CLEANER IT WILL RUIN THE PARTS.

1994 Chevrolet Camaro unstable idle

You could have a faulty Crankshaft sensor, when you went through the flood, the crankshaft sensor wire leads may have gotten damaged or the sensor it self and your going to need to replace it. The sensor sends signal to the ECM which will control your fuel and and timing to each cylinder. Start with that and the sensor is located on the passenger side on the harmonic balance and you can pick on up at Auto Zone, Part Source ad they will have the step by step instructions for you to replace the sensor. Here is a link for you to also retrieve any DTC codes your ECM has saved that may be causing your engine's issues. http://www.troublecodes.net/GM/

Good luck and thank you for using Fixya.

I need to change a transmission mount in a 1994 camaro

Get a Haynes manual, or better yet, a Chevy manual. Renting a transmission jack can be very helpful. My opinion is, if you have to ask here, you might be in over your head. This is not a trivial, and possibly dangerous job.
