Question about 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt

2005 Cobalt Turn Singnals.

So I got the car in summer of 2005. Sometime around that winter my turn signals stopped clicking. They work completely fine and the light flashes but there's no sound. Also after making a turn and the wheel turns the signal will make a loud click and it'll stay on. Anyone else have this problem?

Replace the small silver can in the fuse compartment (flasher) then if the canceling lever still stays on after a turn you must remove the steering wheel and replace the canceling cam
both parts are available at an autoparts store

    in the dash fusebox

Do you know what fuse? Because the book doesn't say anything about a flasher fuse

the flasher is not a fuse it is a flasher relay and, will be mounted in the fuse box if you do not know what to look for; see one at the auto parts store

I have a 2002 jeep grand cherokee and my turn signals stopped working. My hazard lights are working fine. Lights are working also. But im not getting a light on the dash for my turn signals.

I have the same issue. I took the flasher relay out, inspected the pieces for any hairline fractures on the circuit board, nothing it was clean. On my jeep, the turn signals always work in the Spring, Summer, Fall months, but as soon as Winter hits I loose my turn signals. Also, I know it is temperature related because I drive around for a half hour and the signals work again. It is really strange, I think the issue is somewhere in the ground wire, I will be checking that next and will post any new information. Anybody else who has had this issue and correlation I would certainly like to hear about any solutions. Thanks

Intermittent turn signal problem 2005 malibu

Check that the fuse for the turn signal is not loose. Sometime a firm push inside is needed. If that doesn't work replace the fuse. If it is still loose then take a narrow pice of wire and insert it in with the fuse to keep if from being loose.

The problem could also be at your turn signal stalk. Turn of the turn signal and then move the turn signal stalk in different directions and hold it. You are trying to see where the intermittent problem goes away. If it doesn't , then the stalk is fine.

Turn signal on 2006 Cobalt does not make a clicking sound but the signals work fine.

The clicking sound comes from the old-fashioned thermal blinker switch. There is an electronic flasher unit whick is a direct replacement (and usually more reliable) which does not make a noise. This is probably what you have. There is no problem.

2006 Chevy Cobalt. My power steering goes out.

It sounds like the power steering motor is overheating pre maturely. Changing the motor should take care of the problem. What really happens is the motor reports to the power steering module that it is over heating and the module is shutting power to the motor down, the motor is actually no overheating.

Pontiac 1994 grand am . turn singnals quit working but the emergency flashers all work fine. i checked the fuses and changed out the round flasher and square relay under the dash and still no turn signals

it sounds like the multi function switch quit,
the turn signal handle your using is the turn signal switch,it is called a multi function switch because it now also does more like your dimmer switch or cruise control.you need to remove three screws under the steering cover to get to it

Turn signals won't flash

the flashing is genreally controlled by a relay switch in your car. probably the fuse for your relay is blown or your realy itsef might need to be replaed.

Air conditioning works on high level

Replace power module. Its under the hood. In the air duct up against the firewalll. About 12" to the left of the blower motor. Has 2 connectors on top. Its black. May be hard to notice. Probably have to remove cross brace to get at.it. Then remove 3 screws and pull it out. Put in new one. Reattach brace
