Question about 1995 Cadillac DeVille
Is a special tool required to remove the rear brake caliper on a 1995 cadillac seville?
I just did the rear caliper on my '95 Deville Concours and found that the caliper would not rotate enough to slide it off the top bolt. My solution was to remove the parking brake cable bracket bolt behind the caliper. This gave me the ability to rotate the caliper enough to get the caliper off of the brake pads and slide the caliper towards the inside of the car.

Taking the caliper off is suppose to be easy. I guess you have the bottom bolt off? Then the caliper should be able to rotate up on the other guide pin. The top pin is suppose to just pull apart (caliper and caliper bracket) but sometimes that isn't the case. So right where it rotates on the top pin it comes apart right there. Inside is a guide sleeve and another bolt like the bottom. You'll probably need to pound on it with a hammer and flat punch or something near the top pin. This is the back caliper.
