All this is online, look it up.
and looking there ,only has a single , line explanation.
ever heard of the FSM? you never stated the car year, or model.
the factor service, manual covers all that , extensively.
or a virtual manual is here.
at
Alldata dot com.or at Mitchels.
every day, all day, 24/7

btw ,if the tranny slips, the TCM will throw out codes
and it is clueless as to why. !

I agree, this is a lot of codes. I would tend to think this would be electrical, perhaps computer are a loose connection? These trannys I have rebuilt so far usually have a couple of codes related to the problem but not this many - all over the place.

SOURCE: OBD codes P0700, P0732, P0733,

P0700....Transmission Control System (MIL Request)

P0732....Gear 2 Incorrect Ratio

P0733....Gear 3 Incorrect Ratio

P0841....Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch 'A' Circuit Range/Performance

P0871....Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch "C" Circuit Range/Performance

well it would appear so as the fluid pressure sensor switch is controling the gear change as as you have two faulty switches its affecting two gears .now you are also showing a code for not connecting the information to the computer ,so i would check the connection plug on the gearbox in case some of the connections are corroded or burnt inside the connection plug before you go any further ,if they all appear to be ok and have a continuety circuit with a meter then i would be inclined to ask a specialist autogearbox garage for a opinion .Autoboxs are not something we have that many of in europe because they are called granny wagons here and are not popular because when they go wrong it means throwing the car away

Make sure the fluid level is correct and look at the color of the fluid. It should be bright red and not smell burnt. It could be as simple as changing the fluid and filter.

I have a 2007 Sebring with 61k miles. I was told by dealer that it has two codes P1790 & P0733. It shifts hard when going to higher gear. Please help.

We use the site as you do ,we have no info
Use Google to look up the codes
2007 Sebring OBD Codes P1790 & PO733
With the transmission code park it & don't use it
Hopefully you haven't used it at all, even ten miles
or you will ruin the trans.
Why would you go to a dealer, be given codes & they
let you leave or you decide to leave the dealership?
You could take it out of there to a local shop
for further diagnoses of the codes, but to drive
it,that is asking for trouble

Suzuki 2005 verona codes coming up are P0700, P0741, P0733 and Po734 what do these mean

bad A/T
automatic transmissions are complex, and expensive to repair /replace.
take it to an ASE pro.
The suzuki has factory codes too, so you need them for full diagnosis.
that takes a special too, not just your generic P0 codes.
this tells me , the tranny is slipping
tcc not locking up and 3nd and 4 gear , not right ratio.
slips. and that is serious. get a full diagnosis.
5sp M/T/s rule, A/T not.

What do i need to replace to fix error code p0700 on a 2002 dodge intrepid

(DTC) CODE # P0700....Transmission Control System (MIL Request) Translation: Transmission Control Module (TCM) Malfunction or Failure. P0700 Information Code The Transaxle Control Module (TCM) monitors the malfunction of sensors and actuators relating to transaxle control. If any malfunction is detected, the TCM informs the PCM by sending a signal (P0700 code). P0700 means that a code has been set in the TCM. This code is for information ONLY. If this code is present, check for transaxle codes. So basically, the P0700 code is telling you to check the TCM for a transaxle DTC. The TCM can not turn on the check engine light so it has the PCM do it.

I hope this helps....let me know if I can assist further !!

Here is the deal, u have some serious transmission related faults, in order to sort this out u will need to take this to the dealer, allot of testing is required to get to the bottom of this, if I had to guess I would say the trans is going to have to be overhauled.
