Should have 4 plastic cover bolts on top at each corner or close to the corners just unbolt and lift up.

How to replace headlight bulb in 1987 toyota camra

For an 87 specifically, I don't know the answer, sorry. There were at least 3 designs used in the 93-94 models alone. If it is anything like them, you have to either

- press in the plastic barb clip on the centre of the wiring connector at the back of the globe housing, and pull down on the wiring connector to disconnect it. Then rotate the globe holder anticlockwise and withdraw it. Don't touch the new globe glass with your fingers, or if you have, clean it well with metho. Then installation is in reverse. Or for a different design,

- alternatively, unplug the electrical connector. Then turn the hard plastic cover, at the back of the headlight globe holder, anticlockwise and remove it. Then remove the rubber cover underneath. If you are replacing an outer bulb remove the bulb spring clip, first taking note of how it is fitted. On an inner globe there may be a covering socket over the globe itself. Remove that, and the spring clip underneath. Replace the globe. Installation is in reverse, making sure all bits are in position, and the 'lock' mark on the hard plastic cover is facing upwards.

Were is the timing bypass on 1995 gmc 1500 with a 305

2 locations it would be. The first is under the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle and the second (I think this is where yours is due to it being a 1995) would be in the engine compartment on the passenger side firewall is a black cover for fuses and such. There are 3 plastic nuts to remove the cover. In both locations you are looking for a tan wire with a black stripe. Just to make sure you know the proper timing procedure; after you unplug the bypass you time it to 0 degrees (dead on in other words). Shut off, plug back in, restart and don't give it a heavy load just give it gentle acceleration don't drive it hard. I hope this helps and good luck.

I would like to know how to the engine cover so I can get access to the EGR and PCV valves.

Removing the engine cover is easy on the 3.6 liter if this is what you have take the oil cap off the front plastic shroud and pull it up and then put cap back on. Then the other rubber cover just pulls off. If it's another engine , inform me and Ill try to find out.

1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, The front 3 plug wires run in a protective channel behind the engine mount. to get to the wires to replace them do i have to take the mount off to open the channel to get to...

Hi Ken.If I remember right the plastic cover that the wires go thru slides onto the valve cover. You should be able to slide it up and it should come off.The other way is that the cover is a 2 piece cover and it should snap apart.Look real closely at it and you should see the snap tabs.I don`t remember having to remove the engine mount to replace them.I know what your are talking about when you say that they poked the wires because I`ve seen people do this.I also know the place your talking about because I used to work at Bergstrom`s just down the street from there.Try what I mentioned here and let me know what you find.Good luck.

2003 VW Beetle TDI

The oil filter is in a filter housing located on the top of the engine. Take the engine cover off. The 3, 10mm nuts are located under the circular pop-off covers that attach the plastic engine cover. You should see the oil filter housing to the right of the engine valve cover. The oil filter housing is a black, plastic cylinder with a cover that unscrews. The filter is inside of this. Make sure you drain the oil before unscrewing the cover to the filter housing.
