Question about 1991 Chevrolet Corsica
I need the location in which my fuel filter is located?
Fuel filter should be located next to the gas tank, towards the front of the car, usually just beneath the passenger seat. Be sure to mark which way the arrow on the old filter is pointing before you remove it. Scratch an arrow somewhere on the underside of the car to remind you which way it is supposed to go. Be sure to clean off any dirt and debris before you take off the old one, use compressed air or carb cleaner. Another tip from the Haynes manual: lubricate the fittings on the new filter with clean engine oil before pushing the quick-connect fittings onto them. Make sure you hear them 'click' into place.
Relieve fuel pressure. If you have Throttle Body Injection, just take off the gas cap and disconnect the negative battery cable. Port Fuel Injection is a more involved procedure.
Raise the rear of the car and use proper jack stands
