Question about 2000 Volvo S40
I think that this is the Lamda warning light which is an indication that the fuel / air mixture is not correct or the Lamda sensor mounted on the manifold is defective.

That's the traction control light, this will come on when your accelerating very fsat, when the wheels slip at all or in wet or icy conditions. There is also a button to manually activate this feature.
