Simple little test. With IGN ON . while pushing the window switch in the UP position., slam the lower part of the door with the side of your fist. SOMETIMETIMES if your lucky , the window will work and go up. If that be the case, replace the window motor ( intermittant open connection in motor ) Hope this helps

My passanger front window is stuck in the down position. Could this be the window switch?

The same thing happend with my 94 lesabre. I thought it was the switch but i realized that the switch was fine. I went at the junk yard and got my self a power window motor. That is proboably what is wrong with your windows. I recommend that you get yourself new or used window motors and that sould do it!

Best of luck

I have a 2001 Buick Lesabre, and my trunk will not stay closed. I don't know if it is my trunk latch or what. how can I fix this prolem?

either the latch is broken, repair parts will be needed, or the catch loosened and needs adjusting. does the trunk close with a motor? have you tried unlocking the trunk? maybe the latch is in the locked position or it's stuck in the latch position. if stuck, turn the key to unlock and pry with a screwdriver

Make shure you dont have somthing covering the ambient light sensor on the dash first. The sensor is near the defroster grill on the left or rt side.

2001 Buick Lesabre windows roll up but not down.

This problem is very likely caused by the drivers side power window switch being defective, I have seen this very same problem in the shop more than once and the new master switch fixed it. here is the part number and price from
AIRTEX Part # 1S3874-Left front Power Window Switch. Price $105.79
