remove the battery on the drivers side and remove the light cable then remove the rubber boot that makes a water seal. unclip the light and change the bulb. remember that there is only one way to put the light in its socket. the rest is easy to re-assemble. the passenger side is pretty mutch easyer to do.
there are 4 bolts that hold lamp in. the first 2 are obious. the others are behind the front bumper..the bumper must be removed to expose them...here is a cpoy of the manual to change..good luck

Removal and Installation
NOTE: Make sure that the headlamp switch and the ignition switch are in the OFF position. Remove the front bumper cover. For additional information, refer to Section 501-19.
NOTE: Pull headlamp assembly forward to access electrical connectors. Remove the headlamp assembly.
Remove the three bolts.
Loosen the nut.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
If necessary, adjust the headlamps. For additional information, refer to Headlamp Adjustment in this section.

I have a 2003 Ford Escape XLT. It was running good. One day I turned it on and when I put it on D nothing happened. Nothing happens when I put it on RND12.
