If you have never replaced your O2 sensors it is well past time. The normal service life for O2 sensors is generally 60-75K. Your vehicle probably has a good 200K which means you should replace all of the oxygen sensors. These sensors are a major input to the engine management computer ...specifically providing info about fuel mixture. When the O2 sensors fail they provide bogus information; replace them all and you'll find your Bonny will run a *whole* lot better.

I have a 1998 pontiac bonneville se , engine 3800 (no turbo) the car idels smooth, but when you mash down on it , the car starts mising and than levels out , it also miss if you kick it the passing gea

I seriously doubt it.
The O2 sensors measure the amount of unburned fuel in the exhaust and would not be affected by water if you got them wet.
The spark plug wires and coils would be affected.

Where is the oxygen sensor located? heard it was on firewall...

Nope not on the firewall. The O2 sensor is located in the exhaust system. Start at the exhaust manifold and then the exhaust pipe down to the catalytic converter. You will find the Oxygen Sensor screwed in somewhere. It looks like this. 2f8606b.png

Where are the oxygen sensors for my 98 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi?

Just in front of your catalytic converter if you're talking about the A/F Sensor that measures the air/fuel mixture coming out of your engin. Or it's on your air intake pipe if you're you're talking about about it going into your engine
