Question about 1997 Ford Thunderbird LX
This is Charles from Switzerland. I have a problem with my Thunderbird LX (1997, 4.6l, V8). When the engine gets warm, it starts to sound like tractor, whenever you try to speed up it starts gargling.
First I thought it was the varvle that had to be set again, but the Ford garage told me this varvel is hydraulic so it can't be that. So I guess it's the timing chain that has to be changed (the car already has 150'000 miles). What do you think about this?
best regards charles
