Pull the hood button under the dash. Lift the bonnet slightly and under the opening will be a lever near the lock that either goes sideways or down to release the bonnet latch. This is a safety device that prevents the bonnet from flying back over the windscreen if the bonnet has not been properly shut.

the track off light will come everytime yhe check engine light comes on. this is normal. you need to have the check engine light checked first.you can go to your local parts house they will scan it for so you at least see what area you problem is in and then you can start from there. let me know lf you find out youe engine codes.

check power to your rear tailight bulbs positive to see if they even get power with the headlight switch on. if your headlights come on then it's probably not a switch issue. Just check and make sure that you have power and ground to your tailights. It sounds most likely like an electrical problem. The best way to find the problem is to get an electrical wiring diagram and go through the system. But definately first check power and ground at the tailight bulbs to start.
