Beeping noise from a 2000 Ford Expedition

2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition. There is a beeping noise (kinda sounds like the door ajar beep) coming from somewhere. It beeps five times then stops for a few seconds and the contuines with five more beeps. There is no warning lights that come up with the beep. The beeps happen when I am driving the suv. We hooked it up to our car computer and it doesnt read any codes. Any ideas on what this noise is and how do I stop it. It is really getting annoying when I drive.

I have same problem, Ford Expedition XLT 2003. Five beeps 5 times exactly 1 minute after start drive. Same 5 x 5 beeps again during drive, after more than 30 miles drive.
No lights, no seat belts, no reason! I asked service station broke my alarm but they said it is difficult to find.

First thing to do is. Turn on your ignition switch to the (on) position before starting the truck, (Do Not Start) look at all the lights on the dash cluster most all will light up. This is a cluster test. You may also want to check you user manual that is in your glove box to see what lights are in the dash cluster, it will also tell you what lights come on during this test. If you do not have the manual you can Google the manual for your vehicle. Then if there are any lights not working you will have to pull out the dash cluster to for easier access the light fixtures on the back of the cluster. The little bulb holders will twist out. After you have removed the bulb go to your local auto parts house to get the correct bulbs. To get the cluster out go to You-Tube and watch a video for removing the dash cluster on a F-150. The dash cluster is the same as the Expedition, F-150, F-250, and the F-350 for removal. Then reverse the procedure to reinstall the cluster. Should not take but from a couple of minutes to a couple of hours depending on your tool skills. Good luck.

1 beep every five minutes, i have no oil ***** light on ever.

Is it the oil warning? Beeps can come from a number of areas. My door closed warning would beep when I braked. Seat belt intermittent, even your speed warning setting beeping once when over setting got me once. I didn't even know I had set it.

If the oil light comes on before starting, (as do all warning lights) and doesn't show up on the beep, it probably is not the source of the beep.

Cheers

Need oil filter size for a 2000 ford expedition, eddie bower edition

First, it's an Eddie Bauer Edition (says so right on your truck).
Second, if you call ANY auto parts store, they will look it up for you, and probably even sell you one! (If they couldn't find it before, maybe it's because you misspelled Bauer!) ;)

New starter and battery and still won't start

Could be voltage regulator or starter relay has also gone bad. Seems to be fairly common in the Bauer editions.

Interior Lights and Door Ajar light stay w/beeping noise.

Try spraying WD-40 into the door latching mechanism (door side). I learned this fix after two battery replacements, but have only had to spray twice in the more than seven years of ownership
