Keep looseing water out of radiator into resivior no water coming from exhaust no water in the oil cannot see a water leak only water comic from head of resivior it's a Mitsubishi l200 4 life+ 55reg

Most radiator start draining water if there is microscopic leaks or punctures. The system is a sealed unit and is not supposed to drain unless there is huge pressure within due to heating that can release the pressure cap on the radiator to release water to the overflow tank.
So the radiator must be filled and allowed to stand and if there is loss after a day or after the engine is running for sometime , you must check the pressure cap or else there is fault on the radiator ASSUMING that the engine is working normal- timing and tuning in correct condition.

Hi, I have a 1988 Dodge Dakota, 2 WD, 6 cylinder with a 4 speed plus overdrive manual transmission. Here is my problem/question. I was told when I got my oil changed this week that there is water in my...

Alright Bruce. The transmission has a plug on the side. Its near the top and that will be your fill plug. Your drain plug will be on the bottom of the transmission. The plugs are bolts I believe. I know the bottom drain plug is a bolt. If you have water in the transmission fluid then there will be a white look to it when you drain it from the transmission. You dont run a automatic transmission fluid. If you have a NAPA or local parts store near by, there is this oil made by AMSOil that works amazing, Its called AMSOil Synchromesh Manual Transmission fluid. Its about 10 dollars a bottle and I believe you would need two for your truck. There is no weight for the fluid, its just one type. You should not need anything else to complete the job unless you dont have a oil pan to drain the oil into, and you will also need a floor jack since yours is a 2 wheel drive and they sit pretty low. Hope this helps.
Have a nice day, -Steve

Need to change radiator anti-freeze on a 2001 chevy blazer ,do i need special tool and were is the drain located.

There is a drain **** located on the inside (motor side) on the bottom of the radiator. Remove top cap, place a catch pan under the drain ****, open the drain. When the fluid stops coming out, close the drain **** and refill the radiator...(note: do this with the engine cold). Once the radiator is filled, start the vehicle and add as needed. Replace the cap then make sure the resevoir is filled to the proper level on the side of the tank. Let the vehicle idle until the thermostat opens and the coolant is properly circulating, recheck the resevoir and make sure it maintains the proper levels for cold and hot.

Replacing fluids 0n 1996 300zx

radiator antifreeze: open drain **** on radiator and drain refill with water re plug and leave radiator cap off. start vehicle. watch when coolant drops or rises drastically as that is the thermostat opening. at that time re open drain **** and fill radiator with hose water at the same time. when water coming out is completely clear again turn vehicle off and drain radiator again. fill with antifreeze and water mix. 50/50

oil: jack up car, find oil plug, directly behind steering rack on oil pan. undo plug and drain oil into container. while oil is draining remove oil filter. wait for oil to drain completely then re-install drain plug and new oil filter(filled with oil) undo oil cap and pour in oil 4.5 quarts on n/a and 5 for turbo. tighten cap and your done.

brake system: dont attempt, use an experienced mechanic as the lines need to be bled in numerous places including inside the car from the abs module mounted behind the passenger seat.
easy brake system: individually bleed brakes while adding fluid until clear fluid comes out. (not efficient)

a/c: do not attempt unless you have an evac pump for ac systems.

clutch: same as easy brake except using the bleed valves at the slave cylinder and on passenger side fender well.

washer fluid: add fluid and squirt a little to make sure there is no air in the line

Leaking sunroof with 2 inches of water in car

I had the same problem... fairly simple fix. Just park the truck so the front end is lower than the back. Open then sun roof and you will see in each corner on the front of the sun roof that there is a little hole..this is the drain hole. Pour some water down the hole and see if either one is backed up. (If so keep reading for the solution) If not, park so the back of the truck is lower than the front. The channel that leads to the front drain also leads back behind the rear doors to the rear drain for the sun roof. Pour water in the channel and see if it drains. It will drain right in front of the rear tire, just behind the running board. If you dont get any drainage, you found the clogged drain. To clean the front draines, simply blow it out with an air compressor. For the back ones, you should check underneath the vehicle right in front of the rear tire and see if you can find the drain. If there is debris or dirt there, it could be clogging it. Clean it up and try again to see if you can get some drainage. If it isn't draining and the bottom of the drain is clean, it looks like you are going to have to tear down the head liner and try the same steps as cleaning the front draines. Good luck, and I hope this helps!

Where is the drain valve on 2002 dodge caravan radiator?

its a pitcock facing the cab bottom of the radiator, plastic flat. once you find the pitcock just put a bucket underneath and turn it.then refill. if you want to flush(run fluid thru to clean it out) the radiator id suggest taking it in. you dont have to flush it every time you change the coolant out.

Take it to a body shop they can do whats called a smoke test to narrow down the leak and then fix the trimming or add more trimming etc.
