Question about 1997 GMC Sierra
I have a problem with it misfiring on cylinder 7 by the code and bad oxygen sensors. What is making the truck skip when idiling and under 2000 rpm's? Just had the fuel pump and the fuel filter changed.
Spray salty water on your ignition components. they may ARC or cause worse missfire.(salty water is a better cunductor than regular water) these have high failure rates on caps rotors, wires for whatever reason. the O2 sensor may be a result of the missfire. if you want to swap around some wires to see if the missfire follows you could do that as well. if it follows you need wires. if it stays i would go with cap and rotor.
