Hello i have a toyota camry 1992 and my passenger side marker wont turn off ???

That's very odd, because the wiring for all of the side markers are just splices from the nearest park lamp wires- the rear tail light in the rear (and the license plate lamps are also splices from these tail lights), and in the front side markers, they are splices from the nearest park lamps. Do all the other park lights work and turn on with the park light switch on? I would examine the 2 wires from that side marker's socket to the wiring harness it goes into-the power wire would somewhere splice into the passenger tail light wire. The other wire would be a ground wire and also splices into a ground wire for the rear end. To be on, the marker lamp would have to be getting power from some live source. I can't imagine where. Does the rear passenger light work correctly?

In that harness to the rear where the park lamps run, there might be a live wire going to an electrical trunk latch switch, or maybe a trunk lamp. If the wires were frayed right beside the side marker wire, you could have some cross feeding of power between the two. Let me know, we always appreciate feedback.

My left side tail light doesn't work after changing the lamp. Jeep 2007 - Commander

it worked before the change out?
there are 3 things that are first. on advance electronics, cars. like this. 2007 is 1st year, of wild complexity.
  1. check fuses first. MIP fuse #8,9,10 (8 is left) check that?
  2. check action of park relay
  3. check for trailer wiring hacks (do you have factory hitch option?)
  4. and scan the PCM , do you see any park fail DTCs'
DTCs are system errors.
that is first.
next if not solved, we look in the FSM for that chapter, and the schematics, to see how its is structured. (varies by year, car)

FSM JEEP XK 2007 (book)
factory service manual.

left side rear tail (park) (tail is old name , car has many park lamps now , not just 1 or 2 tails like in the old days.
so it park and the relay of same name.
there are front parking lights too... do those all work>?

my guess, is you didnt check fuses first.
am i right?
fuse 8 is blown?
but that takes out front left park
and left side marker (park ) lamps too.
so did you look at all left park lights first>?

i bet not, if im wrong then you do have wiring errors.
or the new lamp from china is shorted inside, (common)
try one more lamp , like from GE or Philips.

I have a 97 suzuki sidekick and tailights work on and off right side works then stops working then left side works and licence plate light doesnt work at all i believe its a ground but dont know where to...

ok the full wiring is online, need that, a real FSM? for 1996 , same as 97
but not same 4sp tranny. i got confused, but seems the tail(parking) lamps are dead. you turn the Head lamps 1 click and some lights are dead.
there are a huge number if lamps in this circuit. Front and rear corners, all side lights x4, and dash maps, cig, lamp , ash tray lamp. radio lamp. shifter lamp (A/T) . and lic. plate.
for sure its wiring, if any lamp gloes, fully the HL (head light ) switch is good. so the wiring is bad to those lamps. the left rear has the trailer connector behind left rear Tail lens. see that. is it molested?
inspecting all 4 corners of care usually reveals collision damage , and
wires never repaired. you can use a volt meter to find this easy, have one?

2001 Volvo s80 T6, the tail lights are not working. The LED top light works..but the lower 2 lights are not working. I used a volt meter and there IS power reaching the pig tail/circuit board, so this...

it is a relay marked M15 in REM (rear electornic module). open the side panel in the trunk on the left hand side of the car. there is a rectangular panel (@ 7" x 9") full of fuses and cubes and card modules. in the middle vertically, and toward the front of the car (your right, looking at it) of this panel are the relays, 4 rectangular cubes 7/8"l x 1/2w"x 1" deep. sockets are marked M17 M16 M15 M14, but you can only see the M17(top) on my car because the socket is empty (the other relays cover their respective marking). M16 is the relay for the rear fog lamps. pull this one out (these are in tight so you have to rock it back and forth or gently pry),
pull the one below M15 and replace it with the one you took from M16. your fog lights won't work, but your brake lights will. I'm told the relay is about $20, I haven't bought one yet though cause this fix worked. i read this on another site. it was from a certified volvo mechanic.

Fog lights

hi from uk the fog lghts? i assume front fog lamps ? the head lights have to be on dipped beam then the fogs will also work but in uk this is so as to prevent fogs only being used (blinding oncoming traffic ) if weather conditions req fogs to be used for poor visibility ? then the side/tail and h/lights must also be on like wise the rear fog light/s operate the same way hope this helps and makes perfect sense ?? all above is assuming bulbs have been checked and fuse/relay and power to each lamp ?
