SOURCE: distributor cap and rotor location on chevy silverado

Most chevy 5.3 do not use a cap and rotor. Most have single coil per spark plug and wire. Trace spark plug wires to coil usually above the valve cover.

SOURCE: I had bucking and jerking going on and then the

I'm guessing that since you have covered so many electrical ignition parts maybe the problem is fuel related. Is this carb or throttle body? Either way I would start to head in this direction. When the engine is running can you stand by with a can of starting spray and squirt it into "carb" when it starts to die? Maybe you can keep it running with the spray which would prove whether or not it is fuel related. Good luck!

SOURCE: whare can i finde the speed sensor

Not sure where you can find a picture besides a repair manual, but the sensor is located on the pass side of the car below where the lower radiator hose hooks up to the engine, look straight down you will see a sensor with three wires going into it, two 10mm bolts hold it down.

SOURCE: I have a 1994 chevy

You only need one ignition hot for this. Look on the coil cover and it will say BAT and TACH above the plugin. Hook to BAT. Make sure your vacuum is hooked to a constant vacuum (manifold runner is best).

My 1994 GMC Sierra 1500 is throwing the code 81 which says in my book QDM solenoid 'b' monitored voltage differs from commanded . Can anyone help me with a solution to this problem? Thank you

bummer, the quad driver module is in the engine control computer,
that is a "flashed" ecm so possibly getting it reflashed might cure it,otherwise ecm erplacement is likely, always best to keep the original ecm if possible to prevent crank relearn issues .

I am try to find out how to test a ecm/pcm in my van I have changed all the sensors in the van

Why would you change even one sensor?

You have to understand how each sensor
works, and what is it there for, as well as how
to test them

Nothing on any vehicle ever gets replaced
without testing to component level

If you throwing parts at a problem, you surely
won't have the abliity to test anywhere near a
pcm/ecm. They seldom fail

What your asking is to teach you a basic electricity
coarse, as well as how to use test equipment

I think you better resign to professional help, like
a repair shop

Would have been cheaper from the begining

Check to make sure that the fuse to the cigarette lighter is not blown or that something like a penny has not found its way in there and shorted out the fuse. Check all the fuses because it will throw the diagnostic tool off if they are blown. *** Please rate me on this answer.***
