Question about 1993 Ford Mustang
Trying to replace myself
The fuel filter is under the car in front of the fuel tank. Follow the fuel lines from the gas tank. You will need to jack up the rear end and put a couple of jack stands under the axel to be safe in order to get to it. Make sure the keys are out of the ignition to be safe. The filter has a couple plastic clips that keep the fuel lines in place. Pull the clips out of the fuel lines on both sides of the filter. Some gas will come out when you remove the old filter so you may want to have a couple of rags to wipe things off. Make sure you pay attention to the fuel flow direction on the filter when you pull the old filter out and replace it with the new one. The new filter should have a new set of clips with it to replace the ones you removed from the old one. Hope this helps.
