It sounds like a timing issue to me. i would start with a tune up... plugs, wires, cap, button, just to make sure nothing is fouled out. then go get the timing checked. adjust a s needed. if it's still happening then you'll need a new distributer. also make sure you are using the proper engine oil sometimes the wrong viscosity oil can make the engine sluggish. but your problem sounds like a timing issue.

My check eng. light came on and I had it checked and the two codes p0455 &p0449 showed up, what should I do about this?

P0455 stands for evap emissions detection leak and p0449 stands for evap emissions vent control circuit. You should go to a parts store and see if your able to purchase and install. Best of luck!

OBD II Engine code

P0455 is a EVAP system leak detected code check to make sure your gas cap is tight or if you put gas in it while it was running and can set it . First tighten the gas cap then clear the code and drive and see if the code comes back.
