You need the code that is usually in the owners manual for THAT car. You cannot use a manual from another "like" vehicle because the code will be different. It usually is on a printed label that is affixed to a page in the manual for audio.
hi, the only other place you can get this code from is if you take your car and the owners documents down to your nearest main dealers they will then give you the code for free, just write it down in case you ever need it in the future.
You use to be able to get it over the phone but the main dealers stopped doing this as thieves were going out and nicking the stereos then ringing up for the security code so they then stopped doing this and now you need to take the car with the owners documents and some id with you this will then solve the problem.
Have you looked inside the covers for the code in case they write it on the back of the front or back cover. When the car was new their would have been a piece of card about the size of a credit card with the code written on it so have a look for this also inside the owners documents, finding this would save you a trip to the main dealers.
the winshield motor may have gone bad .the owners manual will have a section in it that shows what fues goes to where if u dont have a owners manual u can purchase one at the auto parts store ...if not go to youre local library and look at the chiltons motor manual u can copy the pages .
umm... please explain what the problem is...most honda stock stereos have a code the needs to be entered before you can use the stereo...which the original owner was given. if you pull the battery cable off...the stereo lost power..therefore it needs the code re-entered...otherwise your gonna have to make your own music. you can install an after-market stereo as well to solve your problems if you cant get the code from Honda or the past owner(s) hope this helps.
you have to go to a mitsubishi dealer and have them look this information up for you. for security you should have a card that came with the card that has the code on it. check your manual and glovebox to be sure but otherwise a dealers the only solution and they need to see you and the car in person.
