Check your tail pipe if theres a lot of exost gas wen you accelerate if not then ,
chek your catalitic converter may be pluged / damaged

Have you check fuel pressure at idle should be 29-30psi. Leave guage on and start it and press the gas peddle it should jump to 40psi if not then the fuel pump is weak or is going to fail. Does the Blazer have high mile? if so its probably the fuel pump.

from what you stated it sounds like you have a major internal failure and the transmission needs to be overhauled or replaced. you should take it to a trans shop and let them check it out before any more repairs are attempted. sorry for the bad news.

I changed spark plugs, wires,and ignition coils and noe my truck wont start. its a 2.2 chevy s10. 1994. i dont know what it could be. HELP


Do you have spark?, if not, under your coils is a module (like a plate that the coils mount too) That may be the issue.

Trying to wire a 1994 lt1 into 1996 chevy s-10


It should be a plug and play if your using the ECM for the 1994 engine. The ECM on the 1996 S10 will no work on the LT1 engine, for one thing the S10 ECM will only command for 6 fuel injectors and will have different injection pulse and so on. The program of the S10 ECM is made for the Vortec as to the LT1 will have different parameter **** as engine running temperature, vacuum readings, and timing.
The most obvious would be the 1994 LT1 runs on a OBDI system and the 1996 is running on a OBDII system. You can still run the 1994 LT1 from a 1994 with a OBDii system ecm, but some of the sensors will need to be upgraded to accommodate for the proper readings the OBDII system will need to have the engine to run right.
If you don't have the right ECM for the LT1, go to the wrecker's and locate one, Caprice, Camero, Firebird ECT.....

Actually, I recommend putting an after-market ratchet shifter on the transmission. This sounds weird, but we purposely cut the TPS out of my TH350 for street / strip racing. A ratchet B&M shifter or something similar will work, but it makes destination driving (I.E groceries, family, etc) a bit more of a pain.

If you having fuel flow problem, 1st check the fuel pump make sure is has a good pressure, 2nd check the crank sensors, 3rd common problems on 2.2l injectors which it has only one can be faulty or clog. 4th check fuel regulator, if the regulator is bad it wont keep the pressure build up and lock allowing the injector to work correctly. if your fuel pump is good, your crank sensor may also be going bad, what crank sensor does it it sense the flywheel turning and it send single to ECU (computer) telling it to turn on the pump and keep it running as long as the flywheel keep turning. If pump, crank sensor,regulator and injector are good, my next guess is to have your ECU bench tested. if you have to replace ECU, get it from the junk yard.

Jeff to anwser your question theres a multitude of engines you can put in depending on your skill level and what your trying to achive if your looking to make it into a little sport truck why not say drop a small block 350 in it there cheap to build easy to come by and the clearence issues are not to much to over come you will have to swap out the old motor mounts and you wont have any issue with it bolting right up to your 700r4 it takes some work on the over all but i found it to be most satisfying in the long run
